Judith Algeo Memorial Endowment Fund Back-to-School Drive

To honor the memory of our colleague and friend, the Bucks County Bar Foundation, in partnership with the Bucks County Bar Association, created the Judith Algeo Memorial Endowment Fund to advance Judith's work as a staunch advocate for children and families in Bucks County.

This summer, the Judith Algeo Memorial Endowment Committee is partnering with the Bucks County Opportunity Council to provide back-to-school supplies to local students in need.

This annual Back-to-School Drive helps low-income families in BCOC's Economic Self-Sufficiency Program give their children what they need to start the school year confidently and affordably. The drive provides backpacks, lunch bags, and gift cards to students in need. Last year's program equipped 181 students with the resources they needed to begin the school year without the added stress of back-to-school costs.

The Endowment Fund will match donations up to $10,000 in support of the Back-to-School Drive, carrying forward Judith's legacy and her commitment to Bucks County's children and families.

BCOC will purchase and distribute the gift cards so families can shop together. Minimum invited donation: $100 per child. The Back-to-School Campaign runs from Monday, July 6 through Friday, August 7, 2026.
